(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Mrs. Mina F. Shonkwiler, E. C. Kropp postcard from the 1930s. It shows an interior and exterior view of the Lincoln Monument at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield, Illinois.

"Lincoln's Tomb, Oak Ridge Cemetery, was dedicated on October 15th, 1874. The base is 72 feet square and the obelisk rises 128 feet in the air.
When the monument was rebuilt in 1900, Abraham Lincoln's body was placed in reinforced cement and stone six feet from the inner north wall of the north end of the tomb and fifteen feet below the floor, and there is till remains.", reads the description printed on the back.

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
