(2 1/2 x 4 1/8 In) This is an original antique carte de visite, CDV photograph from the late 1890s. It shows a uniformed Norwegian soldier in a spiked "Pickelhaube" helmet posing with his bolt-action rifle. The portrait was taken by photographer John V. D. Fehr of Vossevangen, Norway.

The photo is in EXCELLENT condition, wear at the edges, a few minor scratches.
