(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique De Witt C. Wheeler, Theochrom postcard from the 1900s. It shows a soldier with his arm around his sweetheart pointing to the American flag with his ceremonial sword. "You are near to me, you are dear to me, And so is old Glory too."

"I suppose he told you about it this morn. You ought to see me today- my eyes are...", reads the note penciled on the back.

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, a few minor creases.
