(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique Commonwealth Publishing Co. postcard from the 1900s. It shows a view of the "Ruins of City Hall and First Baptist Church" after the Great Chelsea Fire of 1908 in Chelsea, Massachusetts. 

"Lynn, April 29. _____  I send you a card I have, best to see the things twice. Mr. Welch that used to board with us at the farm lives there- he was lucky and did not lose anything. I am working now. I hope you are all well. I will send a card to Lena. Kent.", reads the message written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
