Through With The Serpent - You Must Swallow My Story - Huld's Puzzle Series - Postcard, c. 1906
(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique Huld's Puzzle Series No. 5-d., Franz Huld Publisher postcard from 1906. It shows a sea monster with it's mouth full of pointy teeth open to reveal a barbed tongue, "I am through with the serpent- it's now "up to you", You must "swallow" my story- or he'll swallow you!".
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, album marks at corners, a few minor stains, paper loss at stamp box.
