(5 3/8 x 3 5/8 In) This is an original antique P. Sander postcard from the 1910s. It shows a portrait of martyred President Abraham Lincoln and a depiction of his assassination by John Wilkes Booth at Ford's Theater in Washington, D.C. "Assassination of President Lincoln - Feb. 12, 1809 - Dec. 15, 1865".

"Compliments and Best Wishes of Aunt Rosada", reads the note written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in FAIR condition, heavy wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, half-circle tear at right edge, general creases and stains.
