Baby Fold - Mason Deaconess Home - Normal, IL - Postcard, c. 1911
(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique C. U. Williams Photoette postcard from 1911. It shows a group of Orphans in the Baby Fold at Mason Deaconess Home orphanage in Normal, Illinois.
"July 19 - Dear Friend,- Well I hope to see you soon. Am coming the 1st of the month. just think little Donald will be over a year old. Can walk and talk - I suppose it will seem good to see the old neighbors again after nearly a year. I want to get a good rest for I am getting pretty tired. Love to your mother + yourself. Kiss baby for me. Nora", reads the message written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, general creases and stains.
