"A Glad Birthday -
May thy Birthday dawn bright and fair,
And what thou most wishest, wish I for thee."

May each and every day of the coming year
find you happy and strong and brave;
Able to do all things, and to be all things."

"To the Little boy who likes strawberries. Do you remember?", reads the message written on the back of the first card.

"Think and wonder about you every day. Isn't this cold weather? You know those ___ did not suit me. and I am making it all by hand now. You know I am an "old crank" anyway but will be better satisfied even if it does take longer. With love, Fannie.", reads the note written on the back of the second card.
