(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Milwaukee Public Museum postcard from the 1950s. It shows a human skeleton in an "Ornate Indian Burial".
"This unique Indian "Princess", unearthed at Aztalan in 1919, was wrapped with nearly 2,000 clam shell beads. The stockaded village nearby, now being partially restored in Aztalan State Park two miles east of Lake Mills, was the greatest work of antiquity in Wisconsin."
The postcard is unused and is in FAIR condition, several heavy creases, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
