(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique Bamforth & Co. Publishers postcard from 1910. It shows a reverend talking to the cemetery caretaker near a rundown picket fence, "John, I think we shall have to repair the fence, its getting very bad' "Well Sir, I don't know as 'ow it matters. You see the ones inside can't get out, and them as is outside don't want to get in!"
"Dear Minnie, I'll write you a card to let you know that I am still in existence. I picked cotton for P.G. yesterday. I'll answer your letter soon and give all the news I can find. With Love, Martha", reads the message written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in FAIR condition, heavy wear at the edges, heavily blunted corner tips, several heavy creases and a few minor stains, paper loss and missing stamp.
