(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Mirro-Krome, H. S. Crocker Co., Inc., chrome postcard published by Smith-Western Inc. in the 1960s. It shows a view of the The Grotto, Sanctuary of Our Sorrowful Mother, Portland, Oregon.

"An open-air shrine carved our of the solid granite cliff wall which rises to a height of 150 feet. The Grotto itself is 30 feet deep, 30 feet wide and 50 feet high. Color photo by Clare H. Ebeling.", reads the description printed on the back.

"Enjoyed our trip very much. Mountain riding is wonderful. Such pretty scenery. We are going to Mass at this grotto Sunday. Going to the Ocean Air Saturday. Hope you are feeling well. Love, Pattie + Kiddies.", reads the note written on the back.

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, light scratches.
