(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original Edward A. Hess postcard from the 1920s. It shows a view of the crater on Mt. Lassen peak in Lassen Volcanic National Park, California.

"LASSEN VOLCANIC NATIONAL PARK - This crater was entirely filled with lava by eruptions between May 1914 and May 1915.", reads the description printed on the back. 

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
