(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Southwest Post Card Co., Curteich postcard from the 1950s. It shows a classic large-letter souvenir, "Greetings From Raton, New Mexico".
"This greeting comes to you from Raton, New Mexico, a beautiful and thriving city nestled at the foot of the famous Raton Pass. It is a pleasure to stop your car near Goat Hill en route over the pass- and look down upon the city, the beautiful valley and distant mountains. Raton's history contains many adventures of early days. Coal mining and cattle raising are the chief industries."
"Dear Folks, we arrived here at 4 pm yesterday. We were married by the Baptist Minister. Stayed all nite at Enid and didn't hardly stop between here + there. We both feel fine and are having a wonderful time. Hope all is well at home.", reads the note written on the back.
The postcard is used and is VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
