(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is a SET of TWO original vintage Manhattan Post Card Publishing Co., Inc. linen postcards from the 1930s. They both show a view of the Statue of Liberty on Bedloe's Island in the New York Harbor in New York City. 

"STATUE OF LIBERTY, NEW YORK CITY. Statue of Liberty on Bedloe's Island in New York Bay 1 1/4 miles from the Battery, a colossal figure of Liberty enlightening the World. It lights the harbor with an electric torch held 306 feet above the water; the highest beacon in the world. Was presented to America by the French nation."

"BARTHOLDI'S STATUE OF LIBERTY is 1 3/4 miles southwest of the Battery. Height from base to torch, 305 feet. Length of right arm 42 feet."

The postcards are unused and are in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
