(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Thompson's Community Service, Curteichrom Reproduction by Curteich chrome postcard from the 1960s. It shows an airman "Bailing Out" over Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
"Modern in every detail, carefully planned and constructed for the training of Air-borne troops, Camp Campbell, KY, constructed 1942-43, is constantly being improved. It is located on the Kentucky-Tennessee state line. Fort Campbell is 57 miles northwest of Nashville, Tenn. The nearest cities are Clarksville, Tenn. 7 miles to the south, and Hopkinsville, KY. 15 miles to the north.", reads the description printed on the back.
The postcard is unused and is in EXCELLENT condition, minor wear at edges.
