(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage C. T. Art-Colortone linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of a, "Beautiful Oak Tree on The Beach Boulevard in Biloxi, Mississippi.
"This gigantic Moss-draped, evergreen oak is surrounded by benches, from which one can enjoy the afternoon Gulf breezes while in the shade of the stately tree."
"Lovely drive over here - I was tired and decided to stay here- my room faces the Gulf and I watch the boats come and go - very pleasant- Love Sis.", reads the note written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor stains.
