Charms of the Witching Hour - M. L. Jackson Postcard, c. 1911
(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique embossed M. L. Jackson postcard from 1911. It shows a Jack-O-Lantern scarecrow holding a broom and wearing a Witch hat under the light of a full moon, "Charms of the Witching Hour - Hallowe'en".
"Hello Lillie: What in this wide world has become of you any way? I am teaching at Duffields- Ned is in Roanoke Now, Working in the shops. I have just written him and sent your address. I hope he will come to see you all. He is so awful backward, not like his sister- is he? - Horina", reads the message written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a crease at the bottom left corner.
