(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Curteich linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of Main Entrance to West Campus of Duke University at sunset in Durham, NC. 

"Duke University, its origin dating back to 1838, ranks among the leading educational institutions in this nation. For years Duke's enrollment has annually exceeded 3500 students, coming from every state in the Union and more than a dozen foreign countries. Outstanding among the scores of native stone buildings on the University Campus is the magnificent Gothic Chapel, with its graceful 210-foot tower, 50-bell carillon and 7,791-pipe organ."

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, light wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
