(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique E. B. Scofield postcard from 1909. It shows a crying jester pining for a beautiful Woman-in-the-moon, "Everything Comes to Him Who Waits?". "See?", is written on the front. Signed by artist Cobb Shinn.

"Dear Girlie- Rec'd your very good letter this A.M.- you are a jewel of course you are doing O.K. You must make the men help you. Am having a 'dandy' time. Was out Auto riding this P.M. with mayor of Castalia. We are going to Postville tomorrow. Gloves not corn. Will write letter tomorrow. Write when you can. Lots of Love, Ma.", reads the note written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, general stains, album marks at corners.
