Forced Out on Second - Postcard, c. 1911
(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique postcard from 1911. It shows a drunk being kicked out of a saloon onto 2nd Street and below him, a baseball player being tagged out as he slides into 2nd Base, "Forced Out On Second".
"Victor, Mont. June 5, 1911. Here is some of the past, but not the present or future. How are you and your boss getting along? I am feeling very well for me but don't know when I will go to the bad life. Not at all. Good Bye. Write to me and tell me all the news. I read your ad in the Farmer. A.C.A.", reads the note penciled on the back.
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, album marks at corners.
