French Bicycle Maidens- 1800s Antique Stereoview- Victorian Women- Stereoscopic- Wading Water- Risque Ankles- Paper Ephemera

(7 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique stereoview card from the 1800s. It shows two Victorian women lifting up their skirts as they "Wade Bravely Through, Carrying Their Wheels". Titled on the back as, "No. 1035. FRENCH BICYCLE MAIDENS-- THEY WADE BRAVELY THROUGH."

"They waded in boldly, their skirts lifted high--
(the snap shotter waited and breathed a deep sigh)
The deeper the water the higher they went,
(But the snap shotter waited, he wasn't content)
Till at last-- (What's the use, if you fellows can't wait
Turn over and look or it may be too late).
The curtains were dropping when he pressed the button
(He'd missed his best chance, just for being a glutton)."

The stereoscopic card is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, general wear, a few minor scratches and stains, flat.
