(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique O. E. Haszelman postcard from the 1900s. It shows a field of peach and pear trees and a gem photo portrait of a smiling Edwardian woman, "GREETINGS FROM - Ella Singer - La Crosse, Wis. Nov. 16, 1911".
"Hello Dear Anna:- I hope you haven't forgotten me. I think of you real often but have first been putting off writing. I would be very glad to hear from you soon. I hope this card will find you all well as it leaves me O.K. I have been working at a fine place now for the last three months. And I think I will stay here all winter. I am working for Mrs. W. H. Funke the one that has the candy factory. Did you know that Herman's living in Chicago now? Please ans. to 1102 State St. With love from your old friend, Ella Singer.", reads the note written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor creases and stains.
