(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is a SET of TWO original vintage A Capsco Product, Air Terminal Services Inc. postcards from the 1940s. They show views of the "Main Entrance" and "Hangar No. 1" at Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C.
"One of the world's greatest air fields is located on the banks of the Potomac, just 10 minutes drive from the heart of Washington. The Washington National Airport occupies over 700 acres of level land, over half on which is landing area. This is an excellent view of the entrance."
"There are now six large hangars at the Washington Airport. They fit together in one symmetrical design and their walls are of structural concrete. The total airplane storage space is over 5 acres. This is a view of Hangar No. 1."
The postcards are both unused and are in EXCELLENT condition, light wear at the edges.
