(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Western Publishing & Novelty Co., C. T. Art-Colortone postcard from the 1950s. It shows a view of Hotel St. Catherine in Santa Catalina, California.
"Charming Hotel St. Catherine is situated up on the ocean front, a half-mile from the town of Avalon, with a mountain background in beautiful Descanso Canyon, and nestles amid picturesque surroundings."
"Dear Friend, How are you? We are fine. I saw this hotel from the glass bottom boat. More beautiful than the picture. I think I will (come) go home, maybe the middle of next month. If I see all I want to by then. We visited Hollywood yesterday, also Fern Dell Park. It is a wonderful sight - hope to see you soon.", reads the note written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
