I Am Not Drowned- 1900s Antique Postcard- Just Landed- Drowning Man- Parrot Cockatoo- Weird Comic- Edwardian Humor- Strange- Used

(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique postcard from the 1900s. It shows a nearly drowned man pulling himself from the water, his pet parrot riding his hat like a raft, "Just landed here." "I look like a new Easter bonnet", says the bird. A strange and very Edwardian greeting.

"in Rupert and am very tired. Have been on the go all week.", reads the note written on the front.

"I Haven't had time to write this week so I send you a postal to let you know that I am not drowned. Taking my exams and going to everything and Mama and Papa, Emily + Miriam being up here too. Have you ans. M. Adams postal yet? She said "Tell E to answer. Her address is S. Rupert Street- First box 57", reads the message written on the back.

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor stains.
