(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is a SET of TWO original vintage linen postcards from the 1940s. Souvenirs from Rock City Gardens and Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. "VIEWS IN ROCK CITY GARDENS atop Lookout Mountain - Fat Man's Squeeze, Swing-a-long Bridge, Lover's Leap, See Seven States, 1,000 Ton Balanced Rock, Moonshine Still." and "Entrance to Point Park, Lookout Mountain, Chattanooga, Tennessee".

"The views shown attempt to transmit some of the beauties and overwhelming grandeur of colorful Rock City Gardens, located atop Lookout Mountain, six miles from Chattanooga, Tenn.", reads the description printed on the back of the first card.

"Do wish you were along- We are traveling slow but sure so far! On Top of the Mountain 50 miles out of Chattanooga. The Scenery is beautiful. We three are really enjoying the sights but do wish we had two more - but it is a waste of car space", reads the note written on the back of the first card.

"This gate wad erected in 1905 by the Government, as an entrance to Point Park, where the Battle Above the Clouds was fought in November, 1863. Here in the Park is located New York's beautiful $100,000 Peace Monument. At the point of the mountain is Umbrella Rock and the famous view of Moccasin Bend.", reads the description printed on the back of the second card.
