Pine Timber in Pacific Northwest - Postcard, c. 1940s


(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage U. S. Forest Service, E. C. Kropp linen postcard from the 1940s. It shows a view of the "Pine Timber in the Scenic Pacific Northwest". 

"Northwestern lumber is used throughout the nation. Directly connected are its industries manufacturing wood products, wood pulp, sulphite. This area also is noted for mining and smelting, flour and grist mills, meat packing, canning and preserving.", reads the description printed on the back. 

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
