Santa Barbara County Court House, California - SET of 2 - Postcards, c. 1930s
(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is a SET of TWO original vintage The Albertype Co., Osborne's Santa Barbara hand-colored postcards from the 1930s. They each show a different view of the County Court House in Santa Barbara, California.
"This is one of the finest buildings in California. It is of Spanish Style as most of the buildings are in Santa Barbara. There are beautiful homes everywhere. no industry of any kind is carried on here. The climate doesn't change more than 50 during the year; rain occurs only from Nov. to April and then mostly at night.", reads the message written on the back of the first card.
"This is a beautiful county with the sea one one side + mountains one the other in close enough proximity to see both together. I am delighting in my children catching up with their life. I hope everything goes well with you. Love- Hally.", reads the note written on the back of the second card.
The postcards are used and are in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor stains.
