(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Hugh C. Leighton Co. postcard from the 1910s. It shows two ladies sitting on the Shelving Rocks at "Red Rocks", Burlington, Vt.

"Many thanks for the very pretty gift. It is just what I wanted. I am glad the poor old lady has passed on as she was no comfort to herself or anyone else. I hope to hear all the particulars soon from Mrs. Ladd or Mrs.Guerin. I am not feeling very well have a bad cough, think I will feel better soon. With love C. C. Eaton", reads the message written on the back.

The postcard is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corners.
