(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage E. C. Kropp Co. postcard from the 1930s. It shows a view of the Smith-Young Tower, now called the Tower Life Building in San Antonio, Texas. 

"The Smith-Young Tower Building is the only office building in the country with octagonal tower. It is 35 stories, 508 feet in height. A tunnel under St. Mary's Street connects with the Plaza Hotel.", reads the description printed on the back. 

"We Traveled 309 Miles today- gorgeous Canyons + Mountains 6/21/39 - Dear Mother, We are at Stockton Fort. It is windy, cool, few trees, slept on cot. Last night motor trouble 20 mi from any town- we were next to last bus- stranded 3 hrs at night- put out danger lights- our bus behind us had trouble too. They found us - carried ___ in, and came back to tow us in - lost in the wilderness ha ha! One house in 50 mi. - have men on every bus so we laughed + had fun. Tell everybody hello. Love to Mother, Papa, Charles - Ellen (All buses stay together- are being fixed- got to hot.", reads the note written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
