(5 1/4 x 3 1/4 In) This is an original antique "Language Of Flowers" postcard from 1910s. It shows a bouquet of Snowdrops, Pansies, Forget-me-nots, Bluebells and White Heather painted by artist J. Leslie Melville. Words by C. Preston-Wynne.

"Language of Flowers - 
Here's Snowdrop-- for "hope" - and
Here's Pansy - for "thought" -
Of the time you and I will be ever together;
Here's Forget-me-not-- "Love" - and 
the Bluebell-- "I'm True"--
And for "Good Luck", Sweetheart, 
Here's the bonnie White Heather."

 

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, heavy writing on the back.
