(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Harry S. Beach Distributor, E. C. Kropp Co. linen postcard from the 1950s. It shows a view of the Statue of Christ on the mountain top of Sierra De Cristo Rey in El Paso, Texas.

"Cristo Rey." One of the three largest of Statues to Christ on mountain tops - the other two being Christ of the Andes and Christ of Corcovado. This statue of Christ stands 40 feet high and was sculptured by Urbici Soler, who was also one of the sculptors of Christ of Andes. The base of this statue is covered with memorial plaques. The mountain, Sierra de Cristo Rey, which takes its name from this statue of Christ, is on Highway 80, 3 miles west of El Paso and overlooks El Paso, Mexico and New Mexico.", reads the description printed on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in FAIR condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor stains, several heavy creases, postmark ink transfer on the front, small tear at the bottom edge.
