The Day After - Skull with Headache - J. I. Austen Co. - Postcard, c. 1900s
(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique J. I. Austen Co. undivided back postcard from the 1900s. It shows a skull with a bandage on it's aching head, he never wants to see dancing women and champagne again, "THE DAY AFTER".
"You Poor Son of a gun - I didn't think home would be so be like this", reads the note penciled on the front.
The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, mouse nibbled top edge, blunted corner tips, a few stains.
