(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Southwest Post Card Co., C. T. Art-Colortone linen postcard from the 1950s. It shows a view of the Great White Sands National Park near Alamogordo, New Mexico. Photo by Alamagordo C. of C. with the Co-operation of National Park Service.

"The only area of its kind in the world, composed of crystalized gypsum and one of the wonders of the Southwest. The mile high Sacramento Mts. in the backgeound, the dunes from 75 to 100 ft. in height, and the vegetation struggling to keep its head above the encroaching sand are all well shown in this picture.", reads the description printed on the back.

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor creases and stains.
