(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Pendor Natural Color chrome postcard from the 1960s. "THE HOLLDAND SUBMARINE, Passaic County, Paterson, New Jersey - This first succesful submarine was launched in May 1881, with a crew of two. It could operate submerged to a depth of sixty feet, was equipped with a compressed air torpedo tube. Designed and tested by John P. Holland, inventor, educator and citizen of Paterson."
The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
