(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique New Cheer Post Card, A. T. Cook, Hydepark, N.Y., "Special Temperance Series" postcard from the 1900s. It shows a sketch of peaceful nature scenes, a snake constricting a bird and the devil cast into a dark pit. "I CAN desire nothing better for this great country than that a barrier, high as Heaven, should be raised between the unpolluted lips of the children and the intoxicating cup." - John B. Gough

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few light stains.
