(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique Owens Bros. Co. postcard from the 1910s. It shows a weary, exasperated farmer's wife carrying a squealing, squirming piglet off to slaughter so she can feed her hungry family. "THE SPOILED CHILD- BIDDY - Bedad he's more bother to me than me own ten."

"Dunavant, Kan. - July 28., '11- Dear Carrie:- I received your card and it was real nice. I hope you had a nice time on your excursion, I sure would have liked to been there. Our league gave a social and I made quite a bit, 22. Will close, hoping to hear from you. Art.", reads the message written on the back.

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
