(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique Alfred James Dewey postcard from the 1910s. It shows an Edwardian couple floating in their rowboat by the light of the full moon and the glow of a nearby campfire, "The Witching Hour".

"3-17-11 My Dear Alice: Actually and honestly, I am still in the land of the living, are you!? Thought a card better than nothing for I am so terribly sleepy I can't write a letter. Do come up and see me. Give ALL my best, with love -"Bob". P.S. "Bob" - Clara Brenyer's nickname, Pearl Zula, Clara + I all picked out Nicknames", reads the message written on the back.

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor stains on the back.
