(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Samson Brothers, SB postcard from the 1910s. It shows a surprised little girl caught on a barbed wire fence, "Will hold the -WIRE- for you!". Signed by artist Frederick L. Cavally, FLC.
"Dear Kit; Was glad to hear you are taking it easy. I'm cleaning house and am nearly thru. Had the old shebang all papered + it made lots of work, but would rather have my job than yours. Waiting is mighty slow work, I've been there myself. I think Pete's onions will be frozen so hard they won't know whether they are onions or snow balls. Yours with love, Franc.", reads the message written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, several stains and light creases. The colors are very light/ pastel, not as dark as the scan makes it seem.
