Fond Love - Hand Tinted - RPPC, c. 1910s
(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique "Philco Series" Italian hand tinted real photo postcard from the 1910s. It shows a couple lit by the light of a candle, "FOND LOVE - The sweetest of all earthly bliss - A loving, lingering, tender kiss."
"Dearest Paul, There is no time for letters as it is Saturday dear, but I have received your lovely one for which I thank you sweetheart. I am lovingly - you do write, what a dear you are. We are all quite well dearest and I am now happy. So glad to learn you are well dear- as the weather is so hot, I was afraid for you dear. Fond love to you Paul. Your Sincere Sweetheart, Violet.", written on the back.
The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips.
