Happy Birthday Ostrich - Fravessi-Lamont, Inc. - Card, c. 1960s
(4 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Fravessi-Lamont, Inc. card from the 1960s. It shows an irritated Ostrich, "Happy Birthday! Take it in your stride, my dear-" open the card and the Ostrich's head pops out at you, "It's bound to POP UP once a year! Have Fun!"
"Dear Marion - Golly, it's too bad you lost you fountain pen! I don't mind letters written in pencil, though!! We're sure looking forward to seeing all of you. It won't be long now, either. Put two extra bottles of beer in the ice box and we'll celebrate your birthday when we see ya! Last night I dreamed about you - 3rd time in a week. You were giving me a Joni. Happy Birthday! Love - Jane", reads the note written on the back.
The card is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, minor wear at the edges, slight discoloration and writing on the back side, names written inside.
