(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique K. Ltd. real photo postcard from 1918. It shows an African-American doughboy posing with the automobile he's been assigned to drive. He is identified by his signature on the back, "John F. Smith 301st Stevedores A.E.F. - Mar. 28, 1918." (American Expeditionary Forces). A scrap of album paper provides a few more bits of information; it reads, "Smith- My Colored Chauffeur at St. Nazaire - Jan.-Feb.".

The photo is in VERY GOOD condition, light in contrast, wear at the edges, scrapbook paper stuck at backside corners.
