On Friday Morn We Take A Broom - Sunbonnet Twins - Postcard, c. 1900s
(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique American Post Card, "Sunbonnet Twins" Series Number 72 postcard published by The Ullman Manufacturing Co. in the 1900s. It shows the Sunbonnet Twins hard at work sweeping and scrubbing the floor.
"On Friday morn we take a broom.
We sweep and scrub and dust each room;
Our mama says, we must be clean,
And not a speck of dust be seen;
We are the SUNBONNET TWINS, you see,
And we are as good as we can be."
The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, light general creases and stains, album marks at corners.
