(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique embossed postcard from the 1910s. It shows a bouquet of Roses laying on the surface of a pond as dragonflies flit about, "READ - THINK - ACT. If Successful, Young Man, don't get a Swelled Head, but thank Him from whom all blessings flow. Deacon Goodenough".

"Dear Mrs. Horning, Please put Mrs. Shenk's dress aside for a few days until I let you know. She is sick in bed and may not be able to come up just now. Regards, Mrs. Schacht.", reads the note written on the back.

The postcard is used and is in GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor stains, postmark ink transfer on the front.
