$8.50

(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique postcard from the 1910s. It shows a blonde, buxom Edwardian telephone switchboard operator in a shirtwaist dress chatting instead of connecting impatient callers.

"THE TELEPHONE GIRL
Hello! Hello! You're never there
When one to call is nervous
You're always talking to some kid,
Why don't you try and serve us."

"You better try and do better in the future", reads the message written on the back.

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few minor creases and stains.
