(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original antique Th. E. L., Theochrom Serie No. 1021 postcard from the 1900s. It shows an Edwardian boy and girl posing with their playthings. The boy, wearing a sailor outfit is sitting on a horse pull-toy with a clown doll. The girl, in a frilly dress and bonnet is sitting on a stuffed pig with a fancy German doll. 

"Hoxie, KS. Oct. 18, '09 - Dear Friend: I got your card Oct. 3 - was glad to hear from you. Will close your friend: E. M. C. Ans. Soon.", reads the note written on the back. 

The postcard is used and is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, blunted corner tips, a few light scuffs.
