(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is a SET of 4 original vintage B. S. Reynolds postcards from the 1930s. They shows four murals from the "Evolution of Books Series" painted by John W. Alexander in the Library of Congress, Washington, D C.

"The Oriental story-teller, relating his tale to a group of absorbed listeners."

"The Cairn erected by prehistoric man on the seashore, a mere heap of boulders to commemorate some notable event."

"Hieroglyphics chisled upon the face of a monumental tomb by the Egyptian stone cutters."

"The Manuscript engrossed and illuminated by the monastic scribes of the Middle Ages".

The postcards are in EXCELLENT - VERY GOOD condition, minor wear at the edges, a few light creases, a few cracks in finish.
