(5 1/2 x 3 1/2 In) This is an original vintage Capital Engravings chrome postcard from 1968. It shows a reproduction of a painting of Oklahoma's State bird, the Scissor-Tailed Flycatcher painted by Ken Haag.

"SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER (muscivora forficata) - Oklahoma State Bird - Designated by an act of Legislature in May, 1951, this diginified, quiet bird with its beautiful plumage and long, sleek tail was selected by the people of Oklahoma. This scene is from the original canvas painted especially to give true rendition to Oklahoma's Official State Bird.", reads the description printed on the back. 

The postcard is unused and is in VERY GOOD condition, album marks at corners, and a few minor stains.
