(2 3/8 x 4 In) This is a SET of TWO original antique lithograph trade cards from the 1800s. They both show flowers and a curl of Birch bark on a black background and advertise, "Black Things. The Mourning Department has been greatly improved this season. Please inspect the New Stock. - John Wanamaker". John Wanamaker founded one of the very first department stores in the U.S. during 1861 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

The cards are in VERY GOOD condition, light wear at the edges, scrapbook paper stuck to the backs.
