(3 1/2 x 5 1/2 In) This is an original antique Rotary Photographic Series real photo postcard from the 1900s. It shows a studio scene of a shipwrecked Edwardian boy washed up on the rocks during a thunderstorm, "Anchored (2)".

"Sudden the lightings flash'd,

Like falchions in the dark!

Sudden the thunders crash'd,

Alas! for the gallant bark!

There whom the storm had pass'd,

A dreary wreck lay she!

But a soft smile came from the stars,

And a voice from the whisp'ring foam,

Safe, safe at last the danger past,

Safe in his Father's Home."

The photo is in VERY GOOD condition, wear at the edges, album marks at corners, a few small stains and creases.
